Pointe de Lima in the rain
Ugh, what a day! Lots of drizzle, and then full on rain. The raincoats seemed to be waterproof!
Very nice walk through eucalyptus and pine forests, lots of vineyards and farmers fields. Goats, sheep and friendly dogs came out to greet us. No bears, coyotes, or mountain lions here.
Just killing time waiting for 7 pm when restaurants open. We have managed to sit outdoors till now, but it’s either sit inside or take something out because of rain. Portugal is very COVID conscious, all restaurant and hotel staff are masked. Most people on streets still wear masks also.
Managed to get hotel desk guy to help us ship bags tomorrow. Fingers crossed it works. There’s a big hill tomorrow I’d prefer to attempt without an additional 15 pounds.
We are really enjoying the walk, even the rain. Just another day and then we’ll cross into Spain at Tui. Peter seems excited by the prospect of shipping bags ahead- I’ll admit I am a little too!
